Package delivery via drone is now a reality for Amazon. The company successfully completed its first Prime Air package delivery via drone in Cambridge, England on December 7 (NOTE: dropping packages from the sky on Pearl Harbor Day seems to be a strange paradox).
In what smells like a public relations setup, Amazon claims the order was delivered to the customer's home a mere 13 minutes after the order was received. Nevertheless, it is an impressive feat for a company that has been consistently pushing the envelope for package delivery via unmanned aircraft since it announced its plan back in 2013.
